SSC conducts the exam in three tiers. The SSC CHSL tier I is conducted in three shifts per day. The exam was conducted for 1 hour from 10 am to 11 am in online mode.

Overall, the paper was moderate mostly, but candidates faced problems in attempting Quantitative Aptitude questions. They were tricky as a result of which average questions that were well-attempted dropped.
There were many general knowledge questions asked in the exam. These included questions like “What is the number of new Ramsar sites in India?”, “Who is the newly appointed Comptroller and Auditor General of India?”, etc.
