The Staff Selection Commission is conducting the Tier I of Combined Higher Secondary Level Exam all over the country (except for West Bengal). The exams started on April 12 and will continue till April 27, 2021. 

The exams are being conducted online in three shifts- Morning (10 AM to 11 AM), Afternoon (1 PM to 2 PM), and Evening (3 PM to 4 PM). The SSC is following strict Covid-19 protocols at the exam centres. 

The candidates have to wear their masks at all times at the exam premises. They also have to go through thermal check-ups and sanitization along with carrying their own sanitizers and water bottles.

Shift 1 of today’s (April 13) is over and here are the details about it to help students who are going to appear for the exam. According to the students who took the exam, its difficulty level was easy to moderate. 

SSC CHSL 2021 April 13 Shift 1- Overall Analysis

  • The Tier I exam consists of four sections- English Language, General Intelligence, General Awareness, and Quantitative Aptitude.
  • Each section contains 25 questions making the total 100.
  • The total marks of the paper are 200 and the duration is 1 hour (60 minutes).
  • Each question holds 2 marks and there is a negative marking of 0.5 marks for each wrong answer.
  • The question paper is bilingual (Hindi and English) except for the English Language section.
