The Staff Selection Commission has started conducting the Combined Higher Secondary Level Tier I exam on April 12, 2021. For the exam to be held safely and fairly, the Commission has taken all the necessary measures and made arrangements keeping the Covid-19 pandemic in mind.
The SSC CHSL Tier I exam is scheduled to end on April 27, 2021, all across the country except for West Bengal. The Exams are scheduled for May 21 and 22, 2021 in the state.
The exams are held in three shifts- Morning (10 AM to 11 AM), Afternoon (1 PM to 2 PM), and Evening (3 PM to 4 PM).
All the candidates appearing for the exam have to follow the instructions and guidelines dictated by the SSC and the Ministry of Health very strictly. Anyone without a mask is not allowed on the exam premises.

They also have to carry their own sanitizers and transparent water bottles. The candidates have to download the SSC CHSL Tier I Admit Card from the official website in order to be allowed for the exam.
This recruitment drive of SSC CHSL is going to recruit 4726 candidates for the vacancies of posts like Lower Divisional Clerk (LDC), Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA), Postal Assistant (PA), Sorting Assistant (SA), Data Entry Operator (DEO), and Data Entry Operator (DEO) Grade A).
