October 15, 2020: The Staff Selection Commission successfully conducted the SS CHSL 2020 Tier 1 examination on October 15, 2020. Candidates who appeared for the Examination can now check SSC CHSL Tier 1 2020 Exam Analysis here. The SSC CHSL Tier 1 2020 examination is scheduled to be conducted from October 12 to October 16, October 19 to October 26, 2020. The examination was conducted under the strict COVID-19 guidelines.

SSC CHSL Tier 1 2020 Exam Analysis: Day-3, Shift-1 Highlights

SSC CHSL 2020 Examination consisted of 4 different sections namely General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Comprehension. SSC CHSL Tier 1 2020 Exam Analysis: Exam Pattern, Negative Marking Details

  • According to students’ reactions, the question was considered to be tough in comparison to previous shift questions. 
  • Out of four sections, the Quantitative Aptitude section took more time as it was lengthy. English Section consisted of tricky questions. As per SSC CHSL exam analysis, the safe attempts are considered to be 65 to 75 questions out of 100.

  • The examination consisted of a total of 100 questions. Students were given 60 minutes to answer the questions. According to experts, students need to answer a total of 20-70 questions in order to score good rankings in the examination. 
  • SSC CHSL Tier 1 examination consisted of Multiple Choice questions. For every wrong answer, students’ marks will be deducted by 1/4th marks of the total marks. There will be no sectional cut off list provided by the exam authority for papers. 
  • Candidates who will clear the cutoff of the tier 1 examination will be eligible to appear in the tier 2 examination.
