According to the revised pay scale, the starting salary in SSC CHSL officers is INR 17,000 – 18,000/-. Along with the revised pay scale, SSC provides transport, house rent, dearness, and other special allowance.

To understand the salary structure, it is important to know the components mentioned below :
Pay Scale | Payscale depends on the duties and responsibilities you handle at job. This is the salary set by the employer. |
Basic Pay | This is the initial salary + grade pay. It also depends upon your job profile. |
CPC Fitment Factor | The modifications after the 7th pay of commission are CPC Fitment Factor. All other evaluations play a role while deciding the CPC. |

Job Profile - The work responsibilities of LDC and JSA includes office tasks like maintain data, files, and documents of the office in a systematic manner. LDCs are first-level clerks in government organizations.
Promotion Policy - LDC can be promoted as Upper Division Clerk, Division Clerk and Section Officer.
Job Profile - DEO needs to handle office computers. So, applicants are required to have sufficient knowledge of computers. Candidates should also have good typing speed. Typing is one of the most responsibilities of a DEO post.
Promotion Policy - A DEO has to give different exams conducted by SSC for promotions. It can be promoted as Data Entry Operator Grade B, Grade C and Grade F (system analyst).
