SSC CHSL 2020 official notification was released on December 3, 2019. Applicants must attach their recent colored passport size photograph and signature of dimensions specified by the conducting authorities. The same photo and signature will be printed on the SSC CHSL Admit Card. Hence, while filling the application form candidates must carefully read the instructions and follow the dimensions mentioned in the article below.

SSC CHSL 2020 : Photo Size and Specifications

While filling SSC CHSL 2020 Application Form go through the specifications required. Also make a note that applications with blurred image will be rejected by the authorities. Here is the list of important pointers on this subject:

Uploading online images can be stressful since it is difficult to get the images under required specifications. There are various methods using which candidates can resize passport size photo and signature. 

How to resize Photo using MS Paint

  • Open your Image in MS Paint.
  • Go to resize option in tool bar
  • Uncheck “Maintain Aspect Ratio” and readjust the pixels as instructed.

Guidelines to attach photo

Guidelines to attach photograph in SSC CHSL 2020 Application Form

At the time of SSC CHSL 2020 Registration, students make errors while choosing their passport-size photograph to upload. To avoid disqualification, following guidelines must be followed: 

  • Photograph must be clicked by a professional camera. Avoid using smartphones to take picture. The background of the photo should be white.
  • Keep an eye contact with the camera, while getting clicked. Avoid wearing muffler, scarf and caps.
  • Face must be clearly visible and should cover more than 75% of the total area of the picture.
  • Also, it must be noted that a photo clicked with dim, improper light or flash must not be uploaded application form.
  • Students are allowed to wear spectacles in their photograph if used regularly.
