SSC CHSL Tier I JAN 27, 2017 Online test was held in 3 shifts – Morning / afternoon / evening as per prescribed pattern at the centers across the country. The Online CHSL Exam consisting of 100 questions (4 parts – 25 questions each) with 200 marks in total was successfully conducted by Staff Selection Commission. Further the aspirants declared it as moderate.

SSC CHSL Tier I Jan 27 exam had a Moderate difficulty level. If you made 75-83 number of attempts, you will be able to surpass the cutoff marks easily.

Lakhs of applicants have applied and attended the exam. SSC CHSL - Reasoning

General Ability and Reasoning tests the logical analytics, thinking and non- verbal skills of the students. To surpass cutoff marks, 20-22 number of safe attempts can be considered.

The highest number of question came from Classification (odd one out) which were moderate in level. Maximum numbers of questions came from the topics like Analogy, Alphabet series & matrix. The Level of difficulty for these topics was easy. Students could easily score marks in the bunch of miscellaneous questions, as they were easy to moderate in nature and many questions came from multiple segments. No question was asked on Puzzles.

SSC CHSL – General Awareness

General Awareness tests the basic current affairs and general knowledge of the candidates. This section consisted of 25 questions for a total of 50 marks. The overall section was moderate in difficulty level. The safe attempts for this section were 19-21 out of 25 questions.

The maximum number of questions came from the topics of General science. The level of these questions was easy. Candidate can easily score good marks in the topics like history, computers, art & culture as they were easy to moderate in nature.

SSC CHSL – English

This section tests the Basic English knowledge of candidate. This section comprised of 25 question for a total of 50 marks which were moderate in difficulty. An average attempt of 17-19 should be safe to make it to the next level.

The topics which covered major part of the papers were synonym, antonym, phrases, idioms, and cloze test. The least number of questions came from active-passive voice, narration and spellings which were easy to attempt. The maximum number of questions came from cloze test and its difficulty level was moderate to tough to attempt. No questions were asked on Reading Comprehension

SSC CHSL – Quantitative Aptitude

Quantitative Aptitude tests the basic mathematical understanding of the student. This section consisted of 25 questions for a total of 50 marks. The level of difficulty for this section was moderate and the safe attempts were 19-21 out of 25 questions.

Students can easily score in the topics like profit & loss, trigonometry, geometry, number system, interest, percentages, and time & work as the question were easy. Maximum number of question came from geometry, trigonometry, and data interpretation. These topics were moderate in level. No questions were asked on Simplification, Mixtures & Allegations, Probability, Permutation Combinations.
