The Staff Selection Commission has not released any notification for the postponement of the SSC CHSL Tier I Exam for the Covid-19 Pandemic. On the contrary, the SSC has released a notification saying that the exams are not getting postponed and that the news circulating about it is all fake.

The Commission has advised all the students to steer clear from the fake Twitter Handles that claim to be the official ones and spread false information. They must keep an eye on the official website for official notifications.

The SSC CHSL Exams have started on April 12, 2021, and is going to last till April 27, 2021, all across the country, except West Bengal where the exams will be conducted in May. The exams are being conducted in three shifts- morning, afternoon, and evening.

Due to the pandemic, the Commission is following strict guidelines and taking all the measures for the safety of the students. The candidates have to reach the exam centres well before the exam in order to go through the thermal check-up and sanitisation.

They should avoid last-minute crowding at the entry gate. No candidates are allowed after the closing of the gates under any circumstances.

To be allowed inside the exam centre, the candidates need to carry a printout of their admit cards, two copies of passport-sized photographs, a face mask (that needs to be worn at all times), hand sanitiser (in a small transparent bottle), transparent water bottle, a printout of self-declaration form, and a valid photo-ID proof.
