BEL, in Bangalore has sent out an invitation to apply for accountant apprenticeship under NAPS for interested candidates on their official website. The last date to apply for the same is August 8, 2020. This will be organized through the National Skill Development Corporation or NSDC. The time limit of the apprenticeship period is 1 year though it can be later extended. There is stipend as well which is approximate INR 10,500 per month. The notification is made live on the official BEL website and those who are eligible and interested can apply through the NAPS website “apprenticeshipindia.org”.
The apprenticeship invitation is for the role of accountant and hence graduation in commerce is a must. Furthermore, the candidate should graduate B.Com from a recognized university before June 1, 2018 and must have minimum 60% marks. SC/ST, PWD candidates will be eligible if they have 50% and above, aggregate.
Another important criteria is candidate’s domiciles in Karnataka only are eligible to apply. If you have already registered for Optional Trade Training or undergoing the same or did this training previously under NAPS in any other organization, you will be considered ineligible for the apprenticeship.
Candidates with a higher qualification than B.Com will also be not eligible for this training.
Eligible candidates are chosen based on their merit. The merit of the candidate is determined by taking into account their result in 10th, 12th, and graduation. Once the final selection is done, the candidates will initially be engaged for 1 year in the apprenticeship. Extension of the training period can happen up to 3 years later on depending on the performance of the candidate and the approval granted by NAPS. The monthly stipend of INR 10,500 will be given by BEL, Bangalore, only during the first year of apprenticeship.
