BEl is inviting applications of engineers for the Fuze project at its pune unit. BEL has one vacancy for engineer on permanent basis. Candidates must check the eligibility criteria, before applying for the post. Interested candidates can apply on the official website of BEL Recruitment.

  • The last date for registration is June 10, 2017.
  • Application Fee of INR 500 needs to be paid.
  • PWD candidates are exempted from application fee.
  • Only OBC candidates and PWD candidates should apply for the post.
  • Selection Process will be based on written test and an interview round.
  • Candidates will be called for interview on the basis of their performance in written test.
  • Although there is only one vacant place but the selection of the candidate will be either in E-III grade or E-IV grade.

Engineer for Fuze Project Pay Scale

The selected candidate will be in either of the two grades mentioned above. The pay scale of the grades is as follows:

  • E-III grade: 20600-3%-46500
  • E-IV grade: 24900-3%-50500

BEL Recruitment 2017: Eligibility criteria of Engineer for Fuze Project

Only Indian nationals need to apply for the post. Candidates must check the eligibility criteria before applying for the post else their candidature will be cancelled.

For E-III Grade:

The eligibility criteria for this grade is as follows:

  • BE/B.Tech in Mechanical/Instrumentation/Electronics from AICTE approved or from recognised institute under UGC recognised university.
  • Candidates must have an aggregate marks of 60%.
  • Upper age limit of 35 years for OBC candidates. PWD candidates have 10 years of age relaxation.
  • Working experience of at least 4-5 years.

For E-IV Grade:

The eligibility criteria for this grade is as follows:

  • BE/B.Tech in Mechanical/Instrumentation/Electronics from AICTE approved or from recognised institute under UGC recognised university.
  • Candidates must have an aggregate marks of 60%.
  • Upper age limit of 39 years for OBC candiadtes. PWD candidates have 10 years of age relaxation.
  • Working experience of at least 8-9 years.

Educational Qualification

Candidates applying for this post must have knowledge about some important topics which are mandatory for eligibility. The topics are as follows:

  • Electronic Fuzes technology and Manufacturing processes of electronic.
  • Knowledge of Fuzes (Percussion/Proximity/Time) & application.
  • Testing of electronics modules and PCB’s of Fuze Assemblies, S and A and assemblies of detonators.
  • Explosive Assembly and Booster pellet integration.
  • Handling the customer clearance.
  • Test/ Proof firing handling

The list of documents are as follows:

  • Filled in bio-data form, downloaded from the BEL website.
  • Certificate / Marks Sheet issued by Board for Matriculation / Higher Secondary in support of proof of age.
  • All certificates (starting from Matriculation / Class X) in support of educational qualifications. (Candidates having part-time or correspondence course in prescribed qualification are not eligible).
  • Conversion formula for conversion of CGPA / DGPA / OGPA or letter grade to percentage, duly certified by the University / Institution, wherever applicable.
  • Latest OBC certificate.

  • No objection certificate if employed in Government / Quasi Government and Public Sector undertakings.

BEL Recruitment 2017: Selection Process for Fuze Project

BEL Recruitment 2017 comprises two stages for selection process:

  • Written test
  • Interview

Call letters will be sent to respective IDs of eligible candidates for written test. Candidates qualifying the eligibility criteria will be called for the written test. Performance in the written test will be the basis for interview calls to the candidates.

The written test will consist of the Objective type questions.

BEL Recruitment 2017: Important Guidelines

Candidates must read all the instructions carefully issued by BEL. The instructions are as follows:

  • Reimbursement of fare to outstation candidates will be made as II class train fare for E-III category and first class AC tier fare for E-IV category. The fare will be reimbursed by the shortest route between the correspondence address and place of interview.
  • Employed candidates in Govt. and Public sector is required to submit the proper application or the “No Objection certificate” at interview time.
  • Number of posts mentioned may vary based on the actual requirement at time of selection.
  • Application which are incomplete or not in proper format or illegible are eligible to rejection.
  • Candidates may be required to serve other locations also if required.
  • One E-mail ID must be provided by the candidate for information sharing about the written test and other updates. Bouncing of the mail will not be responsibility of BEL.
  • If candidature is not found suitable, BEL has rights to debar the candidates at any stage of the selection process.
  • Candidates belonging to OBC category are required to submit the latest certificate.
  • A medical report must be submitted by the candidate in order to qualify the medical standards laid down by the company.
  • PWD candidates are required to submit the disability certificate issued by the Medical Board.
  • Candidates having higher qualification than mentioned need not apply for the post.
  • Purely provisional admission at all stages of selection process is present.
