BEL (Bharat Electronics Limited) is inviting applications for the post of Deputy Engineer for a fixed term of 3 years. The submission of application form will commence from May 17, 2017 and the last date of registration is May 31, 2017. Candidates must check the eligibility requirements before applying for the post. The date of exam will be intimated later. The selection process of BEL Recruitment involves two steps:

Eligibility Criteria of BEL Recruitment 2017


Applicants who wish to apply must fulfil the eligibility requirements. Candidates must be graduated in B.E/B.Tech in the following disciplines:

  • Electronics Engineering
  • Electronics & Communication Engineering
  • Communication Engineering
  • Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering
  • Telecom Engineering

General and OBC candidates must have passed the qualifying exam in first class whereas SC/ST/PWD candidates must have obtained their degree in pass class.


  • The maximum age to apply for the post is 25 years for general candidates.
  • There is a relaxation of 3 years for OBC candidates.
  • 5 years relaxation is valid for SC/ST candidates.
  • PWD and Ex-Servicemen relaxation will be according to government guidelines.

How to Apply for BEL Recruitment 2017

Registration Process will commence form May 17, 2017. Applicants must download the application form from the official website i.e Fill the application form and attach the required documents. The documents required are as follows:

  • SSLC Marks Card as proof of age
  • Graduation Marks Card and final degree certificate
  • Experience certificate/s if any
  • Category Certificate (OBC Caste certificate issued on or after 01.04.2016.)
  • Copy of Application Fee Payment Receipt

After completing the application form candidates need to pay an application fee of INR 500 via Online mode or challan. SC/ST/PWD candidates are exempted form payment of application fee.

The application must be sent in a sealed cover written “Application for the post of Dy. Engineer” and addressed to Manager (HR&A), Bharat Electronics Limited, Sahibabad Industrial Area, Ghaziabad – 201010.

Instructions for making payment

  • Go to and click State Bank Collect.
  • Accept Terms and Conditions and click ‘Proceed’.
  • Select state of corporation i.e. All India.
  • Select type pf corporation i.e. PSU and click ‘GO’.
  • Under PSU select ‘BHARAT ELECTRONICS LIMITED’ and click ‘Submit’.
  • Select category of payment i.e. Dy. Engineer (Electronics).
  • Make and complete the payment .
  • Take a print of payment receipt and attach with application form.

Selection Process of BEL Recruitment 2017

Candidates must have knowledge of AutoCad, Digital Circuits, RF & Microwaves, Radar fundamentals, Microwave communication, Microstrip and Straplines circuits, FPGAs, RTL/VHDL/Verilog coding, Transmission Lines, Smith Charts, Microwave Simulation software etc.

The selection process will be based on written test followed by an interview. Candidates qualifying the written test only will be called for a personnel interview.

Pay Scale

The pay scale for this grade is Dy. Engineer (E-II grade) – INR 16,400 – 3% - Rs. 40,500 + admissible allowances

Important Instructions

  • Any discrepancy found in the application form will lead to the rejection of his/her candidature whatsoever the reason may be.
  • Application fee once paid will not be refunded so it is requested to firstly read all the conditions.
  • Selected candidates may be required to stay at the site till the completion of the project.
  • Candidates must mention a valid e-mail id for the proper updates and information regarding the status of application form.
  • Electronic devices such as mobile phones etc. are not allowed inside the examination hall.
  • Candidates may be debarred at any point of selection process if any discrepancy is found.
  • In case of any discrepancy, the final decision will be of the management only.
  • Only Indian nationals need to apply.
  • Selection of candidate will be purely provisional and Issue of admit card/interview letter will not lead to cleared candidature of the candidate.
