BEL is inviting engineers to apply for the different positions currently available at its various units. There are currently 20 vacancies for Software Engineers on Contract basis at Bangalore Unit and 02 vacancies for Probationary Engineers on the permanent basis at Kotdwara Unit. The last date of registration is November 16, 2016. Candidate has to pay INR- 500 as an application fee.

The candidates who are applying for BEL Recruitment 2016 can check the required eligibility is given below:
Probationary Engineer: Candidate should be a post graduate in M.Sc. in Engineering Physics or M.Tech. (Applied Optics) in any recognized university.
Software Engineer: The upper age limit for the unreserved category is 28 years. There is a relaxation in age of 3 years for SC/ ST category. It would be calculated as on December 01, 2016.
Probationary Engineer: The upper age limit for General Category is 25 years. Relaxation in age of 5 years for SC/ ST and 3 years for OBC category.

The basic salary for software Engineer is INR- 22,500/- per month with relevant experience and pay scale for Probationary Engineer is INR- 16,400 at 3%- 40,500.
Selected candidates for probationary Engineer have to execute a bond to serve a minimum period of Three years. If they will quit during bond period, then there is a penalty of three lakhs rupees to the company. There is no bond for Software engineers.
Selection of candidates will be based on written test and personal interview conducted by Bharat Electronics Limited. The written test qualified students will be called for personal interview. There will be same process for both posts.
Candidates have to produce all original certificates i.e. educational/ caste certificates. They have to submit a copy of the same in the prescribed format available on the BEL’ website along with two passport photographs on the day of written test/ Interview.
BEL reserves the right to disqualify any candidate at any stage of BEL Recruitment process. In the case of more eligible candidates, the selection will be done on the basis of age, work experience, reservation etc.
