IBPS (Institute of Banking Personnel Selection) will declare the online Preliminary exam result of IBPS Clerk in the month of December 2016. The Preliminary exam of IBPS Clerk 2016 is an online mode examination which will be conducted on November 26, 2016, November 27, 2016, December 3, 2016 & December 4, 2016.  

There are 3 sections in which the candidates will have to qualify in all the three sections separately and those who qualify in preliminary examination and shortlisted will be eligible for IBPS Clerk 2016 Main examination. The Mains Examination of IBPS Clerk  will be conducted on December 31, 2016 & January 1, 2017. In the month of April 2017, the marks in the IBPS Clerk 2016 Main Examination and list of candidates provided provisional allotment will be declared. Candidates who secure high rank in the order of merit will be selected for a mentioned post.

How to check IBPS Clerk-VI 2016 Scorecard?

After declaration of the result the candidates can check their IBPS Clerk 2016 Result from the official website. Candidates will have to enter their login credentials. The scorecard will be displayed which includes the maximum marks in each section, minimum cut off marks.

Steps to download the IBPS Clerk-VI Scorecard is as follows:

1. Visit the official website of IBPS

2. Click on the link “Click here to download your Preliminary/ Mains Online Examination Result for CWE CLERK VI”

3. Enter the required credentials i.e. Roll No., Date of Birth/ Password given in the IBPS Clerk-VI Admit Card.

4. Verify and click on “submit” button.         

5. IBPS Clerk Preliminary/ Main Online Examination Scorecard is displayed which includes maximum marks in each section, minimum cut off marks and scores obtained by the candidate.

6. Download the scorecard and take a print out of the same for future references.

IBPS Clerk 2016 Score Evaluation

Normalization is done to equalize the difficulty level of the examination. The normalization formula is based on the fundamental assumption that the abilities of the candidates are the same in all multi-session IBPS papers.

  • The corrected scores obtained by each of the candidates in different sessions will be normalized using equi-percentile method.
  • Scores up to two decimal points shall be taken for the purpose of calculations.

IBPS Clerk-VI 2016 Answer Key

IBPS Clerk Answer key is released within the time period of one month after the completion of IBPS Clerk 2016 Examination. A candidate appearing in the IBPS Clerk Prelims exam can download the answer key of IBPS Clerk 2016 from the official website of IBPS. Some coaching institutes also provide detailed solution of certain questions along with answer key so that candidates can check for solving questions. IBPS Clerk-VI 2016 Selection Process

Selection of candidates for the IBPS Clerk recruitment is held in 2 steps- IBPS Clerk Pre-exam, IBPS Clerk-VI Mains exam. Depending upon the vacancies, shortlisted candidate will be provisionally allotted to any one of the participating organizations. The candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of merit list, prepared according to the reservation policy. In case, if 2 or more candidates scores the same marks then the candidate older in age will be preferred.

IBPS Clerk-VI 2016 Provisional Allotment

The total marks allotted for Main Examination are 200. Marks will be converted out of 100 for Provisional allotment. A candidate should qualify in the CWE online main examination and be sufficiently high in the merit to be considered for subsequent provisional allotment process, details of which will be made available subsequently on IBPS website.

As the provisional allotment, will be made to participating organizations on merit cum preference basis, once the provisional allotment is made, no request for change shall be entertained. Any request for change shall result in cancellation of candidature. Further, a candidate who is provisionally allotted will forfeit their candidature/ chance for the process if they do not avail the offer of appointment from the participating organizations.
