Institute of Banking and Personnel Selection, (IBPS) will conduct the IBPS Clerk Prelims 2020 exam from today, i.e from December 5, 2020. Candidates who are going to appear for the IBPS Clerk Prelims 2020 exam must follow the special instructions, Do's and Don'ts, and Covid-19 guidelines issued by the exam conducting authority. Given the pandemic covid-19 circumstances across the country, IBPS authorities have issued these covid-19 guidelines to ensure a smooth examination process.

IBPS Clerk Prelims 2020 Exam: Important Instructions, Do's and Don'ts 

These guidelines must be strictly followed by the candidates at the exam hall, while appearing for the IBPS Clerk Prelims 2020 Examination

  • Go through the admit card for the date/time of the exam and reach the exam center at least 15 minutes prior to the exact reporting time
  • Mandatorily wear masks and gloves till the exam ends 
  • Carry a transparent water bottle as water will not be provided 
  • Carry a hand sanitizer and a ballpoint pen along with a hard copy of the admit card without fail 
  • No other things must be carried inside the exam hall
  • Stationery items such as logbook, pencil box, geometry box, paper bits, pen drive, scanner, the plastic pouch shouldn't be taken inside the exam center 
  • Electronic gadgets such as smartphones, tablets, Bluetooth, health bands/watches, etc are prohibited inside the exam center premises 
  • Accessories like Goggles, hairpins, hair bands, belts, cap, hats, watches aren't allowed 
  • Candidates are required to wear weather suitable clothes and must avoid wearing jewelry like rings, anklets, necklace, etc
  • Sharing of items inside the exam hall is wholly prohibited 
  • Candidates are advised to show their health status in the Arogya Setu app at the entry points, after this, they're advised to switch it off 
  • The candidates must follow social distancing, and they should stand on the marked spots while entering the exam hall 
  • The thermal screening will be done for all the candidates appearing for the exam
  • Post the completion of the exam, Candidates are required to move out in an orderly manner to avoid crowding 

It has been notified by the exam conducting authority that if any candidate shows mild symptoms then they wouldn't be permitted to take up the exam. To avoid the last-minute rush, candidates must go through the IBPS Clerk Prelims 2020 admit card and check the exam day guidelines.
