January 2, 2021: The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection has delayed the announcement of the IBPS Clerk 2020 Result. Previously, the result was set to be declared on December 31, 2020. However, the result was not declared as per scheduled and is now expected to be announced soon. The result will be available on the commission’s official website and will be available for the candidates to check @www.ibps.in. Candidates will be required to enter their registration number/roll number and date of birth/password in order to check their IBPS Clerk 2020 Result.

The qualifying status of the candidates will be displayed on the IBPS Clerk 2020 Result. The IBPS Clerk 2020 scorecard will be released a few days after the release of the IBPS Clerk 2020 Result. The scorecard contains the overall score, section-wise score, and category-wise IBPS Clerk cutoff marks.

Candidates will be selected for the IBPS Main Exam on the basis of the marks they obtained in the prelims. The IBPS Clerk 2020 Admit Card for IBPS Main Exam will be issued for the qualified candidates. The IBPS Main Exam is scheduled to be conducted on February 28, 2021.

The preliminary exam of IBPS Clerk comprised questions from English Language, Numerical Ability, and Reasoning Ability. The exam was of a total of 100 marks. The cut off marks are required to be secured by the candidates in each of the three tests in order to qualify. The marks of candidates will be normalised to announce the result as the exam was conducted in multiple shifts. The preliminary exam is qualifying in nature. The marks obtained in the preliminary exam will not be counted for the final merit list.
