December 30, 2020:  The IBPS Clerk Prelims 2020 result will be announced tomorrow, i.e, December 31, 2020, by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS). Candidates who had appeared for the exam will be able to check their result online on the official website @ibps.in. Candidates will be required to enter their registration number/roll number and date of birth/password in order to check their result. 

The IBPS Clerk Prelims 2020 was conducted on December 5, 12 and 13, 2020. The overall paper in terms of difficulty level was moderate. The scorecard for the exam will be released within a few days of the declaration of the result and it will display the overall and section-wise scores as well as the cutoff marks.

IBPS Clerk Prelims 2020 Result - How to Check? 

Candidates who had appeared for the IBPS Clerk Prelims 2020 can check the result by following the steps mentioned below:

• Visit the official IBPS website ibps.in
• On the home page, look for the result link
• Enter your registration number/roll number and date of birth/password
• The result will appear on the screen. Download it and take a printout for future reference

The scores of the candidates will be calculated based on the normalisation process. The corrected scores obtained by each candidate in different sessions are normalised. Scores up to two decimal points are taken for the purpose of calculations. After normalization, final scores are rounded off up to two decimal digits. For each wrong answer, 0.25 of the marks assigned to a question will be deducted as penalty to arrive at corrected score.
