IBPS Clerk 2018 Result will be declared separately for each stage of the IBPS Clerk exam. Important Dates for IBPS Clerk 2018 Result

How to check IBPS Clerk 2018 Result?

IBPS Prelim 2018 as well as IBPS Mains Result 2018 will be declared on the official website of IBPS. IBPS Prelim Result is expected in December 2017 and Main result on expected on April 1, 2018. Candidates can view their IBPS Clerk Prelims result by following the steps given below:

4. Enter the required details: Registration Number/ Roll Number and Password/ DOB to access your result.

Step 6:  Next, IBPS Clerk Result Score Card will be displayed on the screen.

Details on IBPS Clerk 2018 Score Card

In case of Prelim Result, only the qualifying status of the candidate is displayed first. IBPS Prelim Score Card is issued after few days. However, for Mains Exam Score Card is issued along with the qualifying status.

Normalization of IBPS Clerk 2018 Scores

The total marks allotted for IBPS Clerk Mains 2018 exam are 200. However, the marks secured by candidates will be calculated out of 100 for Provisional Allotment. Marks scored by candidates in IBPS Clerk 2018 Mains exam along with the list of candidates qualified for provisional allotment will be announced together in April 2018.

The examination authority adopts following procedure to calculate score of candidates in IBPS Clerk Exam.

  • The corrected scores obtained by candidates on different exam dates of the IBPS Examination will be normalized using the equi-percentile method. Scores up to two decimal points shall be taken for calculations.
  • Number of correctly answered questions by candidate in each section is considered for arriving at the corrected score after applying negative marking for wrong answers.
  • Equi-percentile method considers differences in difficulty level in each of the tests held in different sessions to arrive at equated score.
  • Score obtained are equated to the base from by considering the distribution scored of all the forms.
  • Final score in each test is rounded of two digits after the decimal point.

Total weighted Score of IBPS Clerk will be arrived by following process:

Total Weighted Score = Marks obtained in Reasoning * 1.25 + English Language * 1.00 + Computer Knowledge * 0.50 + General Awareness * 1.00 + Quantitative Aptitude * 1.25

Answer Key

The official IBPS Clerk Answer Key varies for Prelims and Mains. IBPS does not release any answer key; it is released by various private institutes. The candidates can check the answer key base on memory based questions for assessing their performance and for preparing for the next round of selection. Answer Key of IBPS Clerk 2018 Prelims will be released before the declaration of results. 

Reserve List

Along with the Final Result of IBPS Clerk, the Reserve List will also come. The reserve list contains approximately 10 percent of the vacancies in IBPS Clerk. The candidates who do not get the final allotment during IBPS Clerk and considered under reserve list are expected to get the final selection in the next round of allotment. So it is important to know about the Reserve List Cutoffs.

IBPS Clerk Cut off for Provisional Allotment

There will be no interview after the announcement of IBPS Clerk 2018 result. This will be the final result of the IBPS clerk. Also, this is a provisional allotment, which means that after verification of documents, you will be selected.
