IBPS Clerk 2018 Exam Dates

IBPS Clerk 2018 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who are going to appear in IBPS Clerk 2018 must check the eligibility criteria before filling the application form. If candidates does not satisfy the prescribed eligibility criteria then the application form can be rejected at any stage. The minimum eligibility criteria is given below which candidates can check to avoid any confusion.


  • Candidate must be a citizen of India.


  • Must have completed graduation from a recognized university in any stream
  • Should have the basic knowledge of computer system and its functioning
  • Should have the proficiency in the official language of the state they are applying for.

Age Limit

  • The minimum limit to apply for IBPS Clerk 2018 is 20 years
  • The maximum limit  to apply for IBPS Clerk is 28 years

IBPS Clerk 2018 Application Form

IBPS Clerk Application form will be available from the month of August, 2018. The last date to fill the application form is September, 2018. Before filling the application form, candidates should be ready with documents such as scanned images of photograph and signature, marks sheet of 10th and 12th examination. The application form can only be submitted after the successful fee payment. No change is allowed in the Application form after the closure of payment window.

IBPS Clerk 2018 Application fee Payment

Candidates have to remit the application fee after filling in all the details. Candidates can make payment through Credit Card/ Debit Card or Net Banking as per their convenience. Candidates who belongs to general category have to make payment of INR 600/-. The reserved category candidates will get the relaxation in fee payment. Candidates who belongs to reserved category have to make payment of INR 100/-.

IBPS Clerk 2018 Admit Card

IBPS Clerk Admit card for preliminary exam will be available for download from November, 2018. The admit card for mains can be downloaded from the month of December, 2018 onwards. Candidates can download their IBPS Clerk 2018 Admit card from the official website of IBPS. Admit card would only be available online and not be sent by via post or any other medium. IBPS Clerk Admit Card is necessary for entry to the examination hall and as a proof of identity. Without the admit card, candidates would be debarred from taking part in the exam.

IBPS Clerk 2018 Exam Pattern & Syllabus

Candidates must carefully go through the IBPS Clerk exam pattern before appearing for the test. In 2016, IBPS did not introduce any changes in the exam pattern for clerical cadre recruitment. The exam pattern varies for the preliminary and mains examination. Given below is the described examination pattern separately for preliminary and mains.

Preliminary exam includes English language, numerical ability and reasoning. The question paper consist of 100 questions to be done in 60 minutes. Given below is the Exam pattern for preliminary examination.

IBPS Clerk 2018 Result

Result of prelim and main examination will be available on the official website of IBPS. The tentative date of releasing of prelim result is December, 2018 and for mains is February, 2018. After the declaration of result, shortlisted candidates will be allotted the clerical post according to their merit in the test. To check IBPS Clerk Result, use the following steps:
