IBPS Clerk prelims cut off is the minimum marks required to be eligible for mains exam. The examination authority of IBPS declared sectional, overall and state wise cut off score. IBPS Clerk exam is conducted on different slots in online mode. Candidates who have scored minimum cut off in IBPS Prelims will appear in the mains examination. How to calculate IBPS Clerk Cut off

  • The corrected scores obtained by each candidate in different sessions will be normalized using equi-percentile method.
  • Scores up to 2 decimal points shall be taken for the purpose of calculations.

Total Weighted score = Scores obtained in Reasoning + English language + General Awareness + Quantitative Aptitude

Cut off Score

  • Mean – 3/4th of Standard Deviation for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWD/EXS categories
  • Mean – 1/4th of Standard Deviation for General Category

There will be a second level cut off point on total as per requirement


What Next after IBPS Clerk Prelims?

After the declaration of result of IBPS Clerk Prelims, shortlisted candidates will appear for Mains which will be conducted in the month of December / January. After the mains will be conducted, the exam conducting authority IBPS will make provisional allotment in April. To prepare for the upcoming main exam, candidates need to practice Grammar, vocabulary, quantitative section etc.
