Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) has released a press note stating recruitment to different posts of engineers through the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2021. GATE qualified students will be eligible to apply for an application to some posts in IOCL. Accordingly, IOCL will shortlist aspirants based on their merit marks. Further, the shortlisted aspirants’ have to take group discussion (GD Round), Group tasks, and Personal Interview (PI) round for final selection to respective posts. GATE examination is scheduled to be conducted on February 5, 6, 7, and 12, 13, and 14,2020. The official notification regarding recruitment will be issued in accordance with the release of the GATE admit card. GATE admit card is scheduled to release on January 08, 2021.
IOCL will recruit aspirants who have a valid B.Tech/B.E degree in Chemical, Civil, Electrical, Instrumentation, and Mechanical Engineering. Aspirants have to apply for GATE examination and IOCL recruitment on their official websites respectively. All aspirants have to keep in mind that GATE 2020 scores are not accepted and application form will be rejected for respective candidates. The aggregate of 8,82,684 aspirants has registered for GATE 2021. The number of aspirants has been increased from 8.59 lakh in comparison to last year. Surprisingly, around 14,196 aspirants have applied for newly introduced subjects of Humanities. GATE 2021 will be conducted by IIT Bombay.
The conducting body has allowed aspirants studying in 3rd year in humanities subjects to sit for GATE 2021. GATE is conducted every for admission to M.Tech and Ph.D. courses across various IISc, IITs, and other colleges. GATE qualified aspirants can also apply for jobs under Public sector Undertakings (PSU’s).
