Indian Oil Corporation is inviting applications for Jr. Engineer assistant post at Panipat refinery & Petrochemical complex. IOCL Recruitment for Ex- apprentices who have successfully completed their apprenticeship training. The candidates who meet the qualification, experience and age criteria can apply for Jr. Engineer Assistant post. The last date of registration is December 05, 2016.  The basic pay scale for mentioned post is INR- 11,900 to 32,000. The written test will be conducted on December 18, 2016.

IOCL Recruitment Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility for different post is different as per IOCL Recruitment. The required qualification and experience for all the post as mentioned below

Jr. Engineer Assistant – IV: Minimum three years’ full time diploma in chemical/ electrical/ mechanical/ refinery & petrochemical from a recognized university. They must have obtained atleast 50% of marks in aggregate for GEN/ OBC category and 45% marks for reserved category candidates. Minimum one year of post qualification experience in required manner.

Jr. Quality Control Analyst – IV: Candidate must have B.Sc. degree with Physics/ chemistry/ mathematics from a recognized university. GEN/ OBC must have obtained 50% of marks in aggregate and there is a relaxation of 5% of marks in aggregate for reserved category candidates.

Minimum one year of post qualification experience in handling instruments in a petroleum/ petrochemical refinery.

Age Limit

Candidate should be more than 18 years and less than 26 years in age. There is a relaxation of 5 years in age for SC/ ST category and 03 years for OBC category. It would be calculated as on October 31, 2016.

IOCL Recruitment 2016 Selection Process

Selection of candidates will be based on the written test and skill/ proficiency test conducted by IOCL. The candidates will have to obtain atleast 40% of marks in written test. There is a relaxation of 5% of marks for reserved category candidates.

The duration of test is 3 hours followed by skill/ proficiency test. The shortlisted candidates in written test will undergo for proficiency test. After that, candidates will be considered for posts according to merit list.

Pay Scale

The consolidated remuneration for Jr. Engineer assistant/ Jr. Quality control analyst is in between INR- 11,900 and 32,000.

Beside basic pay, the other allowances & benefits include accommodation, medical facility, leave travel concession etc. as per rules of IOCL Recruitment.

  • Candidates are required to submit a crossed demand draft of Rs-100 as an application fee along with application form in the favour Indian Oil Corporation LTD.
  • Selected candidates have to submit the copy of all original certificates at the time of selection process.
  • Candidates presently working in Govt./ PSU departments will be required to submit ‘No Objection Certificate’ at the time written test. Such candidates must also submit proper ‘Release Order’ from their employer at the time of joining.
