The Union Public Service Commission has released a notice for 209 vacancies in CAPF on the official website. Interested and eligible candidates can fill the application form online from August 18, 2020 to September 7, 2020. The shortlisted candidates who qualify to the final merit list are recruited for various roles in forces like the BSF, CRPF, CISF, SSB and ITBP. UPSC CAPF 2020- Important Factors to Note

  • The applicant should be between 20 and 25 years to be eligible for the exam.
  • They should have a bachelor’s degree in any stream from any recognized university to apply for the exam.
  • They should qualify in terms of physical conditions.
  • The application form can be filled up online from the official website. Go to the tab for various recruitment notices on the UPSC website and look for Central Armed Police Forces (Assistant Commandants) Examination. Fill up the form for both part-1 and 2.
  • The application fees is INR 200 for general category and OBC. It is exempted for females and reserved category aspirants.
  • The CAPF PST/MST/PET is expected to be conducted tentatively in February, 2021.
  • The final results can be expected around March 2021, tentatively.

How to apply online for UPSC CAPF 2020?

  • Go to the official website of UPSC.
  • Click on the apply online tab and the application form will open.
  • Fill in the credentials and submit the form. Once it is successfully submitted, the registration number and the password will be send to your registered phone number and email address. You have to login once more using these to fill up the second part of the form.
  • The second part of the form require all the qualifications, exam centres, height, weight, and other physical aspects.
  • Upload the photo and signature as per the dimensions mentioned and then go to the payment portal.
  • When the payment procedure is completed, save the completed application form for future reference.
