January 29, 2021: Chandigarh Police has uploaded an official notification on its official website inviting candidates for applying for the posts of Home Guard Volunteer. The application window opened on January 28, 2021. 

The notification says that the interested candidates who are eligible can apply for the post till February 14, 2021. There are a total of 25 vacant posts that will be recruited through the process. The candidates will be recruited after multiple stages that are Physical standard, Trade Test, Bonus Marks, Document Verification, and Merit List.

Chandigarh Police Recruitment 2021: Eligibility Criteria

The following conditions must be met to apply for the post of Home Guard volunteer:

  • The applicant must have cleared 10th class or equivalent from a recognized Board.
  • The candidate must be between 18 to 50 years (men) and 18 to 45 years (women) of age.

Candidates can apply for the aforementioned post in the following manner:

  • Step 1: Go to the official website of Chandigarh Police i.e.,
  • Step 2: Tap on the tab of ‘Recruitment’ and then click on the link ‘Home Guard Volunteer – 2021’.
  • Step 3: Download the application and take its print out.
  • Step 4: Fill in the asked credentials. Provide and attach the documents required along with the application form.
  • Step 5: Submit the documents and application form to the below address:
