SBI (State Bank of India) SO (Specialist Officer) is one of the most difficult exams that is conducted by SBI to recruit officers in different specialized categories. The job profile of an SBI SO is one of the most impressive and lucrative ones. The pay scale that is being offered to the employees is distinguished that makes it one of the most important exams of the banking sector.

There are 444 vacancies of Specialist officers at various posts that are being filled by this exam. The different posts are that of Executive, Senior Executive, Central Research Team, Investment Officer, Project Manager, Chief Manager, Relationship Manager, Data Protection Officer and others. The notification of the examination has been released on June 22nd, 2020 and the applications will be open till 13th July, 2020. SME Credit Analyst

  • The job profile of SME Credit Analyst is to timely complete review or renewals as appraiser including the credit risk assessment proposals.
  • They also ensure the achievement of satisfactory RAROC (Risk adjusted Return on Capital) for each unit in the AMT.
  • SME Credit analysts are also recruited to assist the relationship managers in achieving Budgeted growth in other income for the AMT. They also ensure ABS considered for the proposals are the same as filed with ROCs

Faculty, SBIL, Kolkata

  • The selected candidates for the post of Faculty, SBIL, and Kolkata will actively participate in and contribute to training activity at the institute.

Product Manager

  • The job profile of a product manager is to define the vision for the garage and individual journeys. They collect the business requirements from different sources, synthesize and communicate them to the tech team.
  • Their work is to mostly co- ordinate with stakeholders across business units.
  • The product managers lead the garage in order to design the re-imagined process and review the BRS and write requisite notes and get approvals from relevant authorities and committees.

For MMGS Grade Scale III

The officials are eligible to avail DA, HRA, CCA, PF, Contributory Pension Fund, LFC, Medical Facility etc.

Faculty, SBIL, Kolkata

In addition to CTC, other perks that are offered to the employees of this job includes travelling expenses for travelling by taxi, air (economy class) in case of travelling on official duties and Deputation allowance (DA) that is equivalent to the Assistant General Manager of the bank.

The faculty will be allowed to utilize up to a maximum of 90 days per annum in external teaching or consulting on a revenue sharing model.

Chief Manager (Special Situation Team) and Deputy Manager (Stressed Assets Marketing)

The official designated with this post will be eligible for DA, CCA, PFM HRA, Contributory Pension Fund, LFC, Medical Facility, etc. as per the rules that come into force from time to time.

Deputy Manager (Stressed Assets Marketing)

There are no perks or other benefits other than CTC that is given to the deputy manager. Also, CTC is compromised of fixed pay and variable pay in the ratio of 80:20.

Executive (FI and MM) and Senior Executive (Social Banking and CSR)

The fixed pay component of 70% is given along with the variable component of 30%. Annual increment of maximum 10% subject is made to fulfill bank’s conditions. Also, travelling allowance and other perks are applicable as per the bank’s rule.

Deputy Manager (IS Audit)

The official posted on this post will be eligible for DA, CCA, HRA, PF, Contributory Pension, LFC, Medical facility, etc. which are provided as per the rules that come into force from time to time.

Posts recruited through SBI SO is considered to be comparatively less stressful bank job since they are not related to core banking services.
