February 10, 2021: The UPSC Civil Service Exam Notification has been released by the Union Public Service Commission. Interested candidates can check the notification on the commission’s official website @upsc.gov.in. The application process will begin on February 10, 2021, and end on March 2, 2021.

A candidate applying for the UPSC CSE 2021 IAS, IFS & IPS posts should be a citizen of India. For other UPSC CSE Services, candidates must be either:
– a citizen of India (or)
– a subject of Nepal (or)
– a subject of Bhutan (or)
– a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before January 1, 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India (or)
– a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
Provided that a candidate belonging to the above categories except Indian Citizen should have a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India.
The candidate must be between the age range of 21-32 years as on August 1, 2021. This means that candidates must have been born not earlier than August 02, 1989, and not later than August 01, 2000. The following table contains the age relaxation details for different categories:

Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent qualification from any recognized University.
A candidate is only eligible for 6 attempts.
