December 24, 2020: Union Public Service Commission conducts the IAS 2020 Mains Examination for selected candidates. UPSC essay paper syllabus is not defined for the candidates. As per the notification issued by UPSC, IAS registered candidates will have to present their ideas in a creative and effective way for UPSC Essay Paper 2020.
During the UPSC Essay Paper, applicants have to write essays on two different topics on the basis of topics given. The essay will have a word limit of 1000 to 12000 words. The paper will begin in a freehand manner, where applicants will be free of subjective and objective boundaries. Applicants will have to plan, structure, and write their essays in a creative and effective manner.
