UPSC Civil Service Exam Topper 2020: IES Qualified Jatin Kishore Cracked Civil Services Exam in 2nd Attempt with AIR 2: Know His Journey Here

December 22, 2020: IES Topper, Jatin Kishore has now cracked UPSC Civil Service Exam, and successfully secured AIR 2 across the country in his second attempt. IES Topper Jatin Kishore was born and raised in Delhi. Jatin Kishore's Father, Lalit Kishor works under the Revenue Department, while his mother is a teacher. From the beginning, he was good in his academics. Since his childhood, he has secured high academic marks in his class.

He has completed his graduation from one of the best colleges in Delhi, St Stephen's College. He later finished his post-graduation from the Delhi School of Economics. After the completion of his graduation, he started preparing for the UPSC Civil Service Examination on his own. Later in 2018, he applied for IAS Exam 2018, in which he was unable to secure minimum qualifying marks. 

In the same year, he later appeared for the Indian Economics Service Examination and secured AIR 1 in his very first attempt. As a result, he was recruited as an Assistant Director under the Ministry of Rural Department.

During his work period as an Assistant Director, Jatin prepared for the IAS examination and kept himself updated with the latest IAS updates, exam patterns, and syllabus. 

With his determined strategy to attempt 80-90 questions in the preliminary examination, while improvising his in-depth knowledge for the mains examination. As a result of his hard work, he achieved AIR 2 Rank in UPSC Civil Service Examination 2020. He stated that due to attempting fewer questions in his first attempt for the prelims examination, he was unable to crack the examination.

He added that all candidates who are preparing for the IAS recruitment examination can crack the examination while studying in a planner manner. Working hard, and never losing hope definitely pays off in the end.
