The Delhi Metro services will start from 6 AM for the UPSC candidates on October 4, 2020. This measure is taken to ensure that every candidate can avail smooth and abundant transportation and reach the exam venue safely. In a statement by DMRC on September 20, 2020, it is stated that the regular services with the previous time table starting from 8 AM on Phase 3 sections or on Sundays will continue on this day as well.

The Metro Services were suspended during March since the outbreak of COVID-19 and is being slowly set back to action in the recent times. This is done after taking several precautions like limited entry and exit points, closed token counters, implementing thermal scanning, and thorough sanitization to ensure the risks of COVID-19 while travelling are minimized.
