The Union Public Service Commission has released a notification on March 31 which informs of the cancellation of 318 UPSC IAS 2021 Application forms because of the non-confirmation of payment of application fees from the Bank Authorities. 

The Commission has released the list of UPSC IAS Applications for which the application fees were not confirmed by the bank. However, the authorities have given the candidates whose applications have been rejected to produce proofs of payment of IAS Application fees by April 9. The applications of candidates who fail to provide any proof by the aforementioned date will be considered rejected.

The candidates who had paid the application fees through the SBI Challan form will have to send the hard copy of the receipt to UPSC. In the case of online payment the UPSC. However, the statements provided by the students have to be duly authorised by the authorities of the bank.

The candidates have to send the hard copies of the receipts/ statements by April 09 to the official building of UPSC in New Delhi for reaffirmation of their candidature. They can submit either by hand or by post.

The UPSC IAS 2021 Recruitment Notification was released on March 04, 2021, and the last day to fill the application form was March 24, 2021. There was a delay of 22 days in its publication. This recruitment drive is going to fill 712 vacancies in Indian Administrative Services. 

The offline IAS 2021 Prelims exam is scheduled to be conducted on June 27, 2021, at exam centres all across the country. The Mains exam is expected to be held from September 17-22, 2021.
