Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has officially released the revised exam dates new exam dates for the post of Stenographer Grade “C” (Group B- Non-Gazetted) and Stenographer Grade “D” (Group C- Non-Gazetted) on its official website. According to the released notice, SSC has preponed the examination dates and is scheduled to be conducted from December 22 to 24 December 2020
Earlier the exam was scheduled to be conducted from December 24 to 30 December 2020.SSC will release the admit card of the examination 3-7 days before the scheduled day for exam conduction. Aspirants can avail themselves of their admit cards by using their login credentials registered at the Regional SSC website.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the SSC will conduct the stenography 2020 examination in online mode only. All exam centers have to follow the standard operating procedure for the conduct of the examination. Norms of social distancing have to be strictly followed during the examination hours inside the exam center. All classrooms need to be sanitized before the conduct of every examination. Hand sanitizers and masks have to be given to every aspirant.

SSC selects aspirants to concerned posts in two-stage, which includes written examination and skill test. The examination is conducted for recruitment to a different post in Ministries, Departments, and Organizations in India. The exam is completely held in online mode. There is a total of 200 multiple choice questions asked in the examination with a negative marking of 0.25 marks. Each question contains 1 mark.
Aspirants who qualify for the CBT examination have to appear for skill examination which is followed by counseling of the aspirant. Aspirants are selected based on cumulative merit marks in all stages.
