Guidelines for DMRC 2017 JE Exam

DMRC Exam for the post of Jr. Engineer Civil is scheduled in online mode on February 16, 2017. Candidates have to carry original and multiple copies of the DMRC Admit card and a valid ID proof at the exam location. This year, 50215 candidates applied for the post of Jr. Engineer.

The online exam for DMRC 2017 contains 180 objective type questions to be solved by clicking on the radio button before the correct choice. There are two papers in DMRC Exam namely Paper I (technical and Aptitude) and Paper II (General English). The candidates are awarded 1 mark for every correct answer and lose 1/3 mark for every incorrect answer.

The candidates can prepare by solving the mock tests given on the official website of DMRC. DMRC Exam Day Instructions

DMRC Exam for Jr. Engineer (Electrical, Electronics, Civil and Mechanical) is scheduled in online mode at various locations in Delhi and NCR. The candidates have to select their desired location of the DMRC Exam center while filling the application form. The DMRC Admit Card is the mandatory document to be carried to the exam center which can be downloaded last till the exam date. There are other important documents to be carried along with the DMRC Admit card (minimum 2 copies). The candidates have to carry original and photocopies of any one of the following ID proofs:

  • Aadhaar Card
  • Driving License
  • Passport
  • Voter ID
  • Passbook of any Nationalized Bank

Candidates have to follow few important instructions at the allotted exam center to avoid detention from the exam. The important instructions to be followed at the exam center are mentioned below:

  • Do not edit any detail given on the DMRC Admit card or mutilate the same.
  • Reach the exam center half an hour before the commencement of the exam so that you do not miss any important information announced at the test center
  • Read the instructions and tutorial explained by the invigilator about answering the questions in online mode
  • Submit one copy of the DMRC Admit Card to the invigilator on the commencement of the exam
  • Any electronic devices such as mobile phones, pagers, calculators or scanners must not be carried inside the examination hall.

DMRC Exam Highlights

The DMRC Exam for Jr. Engineer (Electrical, Electronics, Civil and Mechanical) is scheduled in online in two or three different shifts. It contains 180 questions which are objective type in nature. The candidates have to select their choice or answer by clicking on the radio button before the choice.

There are two papers in the online exam for DMRC namely Paper I and Paper II. Paper I is a technical and aptitude test with a total of 120 questions. Candidates have to solve 75 questions based on the technical and professional knowledge obtained during the Bachelor’s programme in the respective field.
