Guidelines for DMRC 2017 CRA Exam

DMRC 2017 exam for the post of Customer Relations Assistant (CRA) will be conducted online on a number of days in multiple shifts. DMRC CRA will have either one, two or three shifts on the scheduled dates. DMRC Exam dates for CRA exam are February 21, 22, 23, 25, 27 and 28. The Post Code for DMRC CRA is NE02.

On February 21, 22 and 23, there will be 13143 candidates that will be appearing for DMRC 2017. On the other hand, on February 25, 27 and 28, there will be 12931 that will take the exam. DMRC Admit Card for CRA can be downloaded from January 30, 2017 onwards. Candidates can visit the official website of DMRC i.e. to download the same.

DMRC CRA Exam will have 2 papers i.e. Paper I (Aptitude and Technical based) and Paper II (General English). The total duration of the test is 2 hours and 15 minutes. Paper-I will be of 90 minutes and Paper-II will be for 45 minutes. Paper-I will be objective type multiple choice paper consisting of total 120 questions.

DMRC Result for the post of CRA will be published after review of Objections by Subject Experts at DMRC website after 15 days on closure of online objection link. The salary offered to the candidates appointed for this post is INR 10170- INR 18500.

DMRC Exam Day Instructions

DMRC Exam for Customer Relations Assistant (CRA) will be conducted online at various locations in Delhi and NCR. Candidates have to select their desired location of the DMRC Exam center while filling the DMRC application form. Some of the important instructions pertaining to DMRC CRA are mentioned below:

Before entering DMRC Exam Center

  1. Candidates have to report 1 hour before commencement of test for bio-metric registration at test centers.
  2. The admit card for DMRC CRA has been made available since January 30, 2017 onwards. DMRC Admit card shall be available only on DMRC’s website (15 days prior to Computer Based Test).
  3. Candidates are requested to download their admit card in color format only from only. An e-Admit Card link will be sent to the registered E-Mail IDs of candidates. No separate admit card shall be dispatched through post.
  4. Some of the other important documents to be carried along with the DMRC Admit card (minimum 2 copies) include Aadhaar Card, Driving License, Passport, Voter ID and Passbook of any Nationalized Bank. These documents must be presented in original and Xerox forms.
  5. Non-Receipt of E-Admit Cards/Discrepancies, if any in E-Admit Card should be reported to the authority mentioned below between February 08, 2017 to February 10, 2017:

After entering DMRC Exam Centre

Candidates have to follow at the allotted exam center to avoid detention from DMRC CRA exam. The important instructions to be followed at the exam center are mentioned below:

  1. Do not edit any detail given on the DMRC Admit card or mutilate the same.
  2. Reach the exam center half an hour before the commencement of the exam so that you do not miss any important information announced at the test center
  3. Read the instructions and tutorial explained by the invigilator about answering the questions in online mode
  4. Submit one copy of the DMRC Admit Card to the invigilator on the commencement of the exam
  5. Any electronic devices such as mobile phones, pagers, calculators or scanners must not be carried inside the examination hall.

DMRC CRA Exam Pattern

DMRC Exam will have 2 papers to clear. The mode of examination will be online. DMRC CRA will have two papers with all objective questions.

Paper-I will be objective type multiple choice paper with questions from aptitude i.e. General awareness including computer awareness, logical ability and Reasoning & Numerical Ability.

Paper-II will be objective type multiple choice question paper with questions from General English only. The questions will be on comprehension, Adverb, Part of Speech, Preposition, Direct and Indirect Speech, Active and Passive voice, synonyms, Antonyms etc. All the details related to DMRC Exam Pattern can be read from below:

Clearing DMRC CRA will require candidates to thoroughly go through the DMRC CRA Syllabus. Make sure you understand the structure and pattern of the exam well. With the DMRC CRA exam just round the corner, your preparation must be up to the mark. Here are a few helpful paper-wise exam tips, for you to clear DMRC CRA exam like a pro.

Paper I

  • With questions coming from general aptitude, candidates must know that there no set formulae to mug up. You just have to use your logic and wit to answer the questions.
  • It is advisable to write down all the information on a rough sheet, since they often involve multiple statements.
  • Don’t be in a hurry. Give each question sufficient time and read carefully.
  • Eliminate the options that have the least possibility of being correct. Through this, the probability of choosing the correct answer increases.
  • A proper image of why each choice is correct or incorrect should go through your mind. If candidates can follow this method in sample reasoning questions, they will do well on the actual assessment.
  • Pay special attention to words like ALL, SOME, NONE, OTHER THAN, UNLESS or ONLY. These words can play a critical role for false assumption.

Paper II

  • Do not fall under the trap of speed reading. Do not skip reading words or phrases.
  • Vocabulary based questions like synonyms, antonyms, are knowledge-based questions and can be answered correctly if and only if the meaning of the words are known.
  • Devote some time of the day to reading newspapers and news channels. This will help you improve your language skills. Your comprehensive ability and grammar skills will only let you clear this section
