Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has announced the result of Account Assistant exam which was held on February 14, 2017. The result is published on the official website of DMRC on June 21, 2017.

The roll number of selected candidates and the information about medical examination is published on the official website of DMRC. Candidates can check their result on the official website.

  • As per the results, 23 candidates (including reserve category candidates) have made it to the next stage of the exam.
  • The next stage of the selection process involves a medical examination and document verification.
  • Candidates declared fit after the medical examination would be recommended for the post of Account Assistant in DMRC.
  • Medical examination dates will be indicated to candidates through e-mail/sms

Before going for the Medical Examination the candidates would be required to undergo the document verification process. Candidates are thus advised to keep the relevant documents ready both in original and photocopy.

How to check DMRC result?

Result of DMRC Account Assistant exam are published on the official website of the DMRC in a pdf file (tabular format). Candidates can easily check their results by visiting the official website. Following steps would help you in checking out your results.

  • Go to the official website of DMRC.
  • Click on the Career tab
  • Then click on the link showing Account Assistant results.
  • A window containing the link of a pdf file will appear.
  • Download this pdf file and save in a relevant folder.
  • Open the pdf file and click on the link “Account Assistant Results” provided in the pdf.
  • A table containing roll number of selected candidates would appear.
  • Candidates whose roll number is not mentioned in the pdf are not selected for the next stage of the selection process.

The result released by DMRC include only basic information related to the qualified candidates. DMRC has published a pdf on its website which jointly declares the results for DMRC’s Account Assistant exam, Ref and AC mechanic exam, and Electrician Exam. As per the pdf, a list of roll number of 23 candidates qualified for medical examination for the post of Account Assistant is published. On further clicking, the link the pdf reveals a list containing the name of the selected candidates along with their roll numbers.

DMRC Account Assistant Medical Examination

Candidates taking medical examination will have to pass medical fitness test conducted by the DMRC Administration to ensure that the candidates are medically fit in all respects to carry out the duties connected with the post.

Visual Acuity standard is one of the important criteria of medical fitness of DMRC staff. Candidates are not eligible for any alternative appointment if they fail in the medical examination conducted by the DMRC before appointment; for any reason.

Candidates are expected to be in line with the C-1 category physical standards as per the DMRC’s physical standard requirement criteria. It  includes:

  • Physically fit in all respects.
  • Visual Standards – Distant Vision: 6/12, 6/18 with or without glasses.
  • Near Vision: Sn: 0.6, 0.6 with or without glasses when reading or close work is required.

Candidates must note that the medical standards  mentioned in the DMRC’s notification are indicative and apply to candidates in general.Candidates may note that for vision correction, lasik surgery or any form of racial keratomy is not permitted at all except for medical categories of B-2 and below:

The DMRC results pdf published on the website says that the candidates would be informed about the date and venue of the medical examination separately through any of the available communication channel (say e-mail or SMS). Candidates are advised to keep in touch with the DMRC official website for any further update regarding the medical examination.

Document Verification Process

Candidates are required to carry all the documents certifying their educational qualification, age, birth, caste, residence etc to the Medical examination venue.  Following documents are required to be carried by the candidates.

  • Proof of Date of Birth (High School/Matriculation)
  • Proof of having passed Requisite Qualification with Provisional or Original Diploma/Degree certificates by the time of Medical examination. SC/ST/OBC certificates, if belonging to reserved community and requiring concession/relaxation.
  • In case of OBC certificate, their caste should be in Central List. Certificates should be current with sub-caste and non-creamy layer clause and not more than one year old.
  • NOC from serving employees/Ex-Servicemen.
  • 10 passport size color photographs similar to what uploaded at the time of making an application.
  • Character certificate. The format of the character certificate is available for download in the results pdf.
  • Candidates are required to come with three copies of Character/Identification certificate, Issued by the competent authority. 

Important Instructions for Medical Examination and Document Verification

Candidates appearing for the medical exam must adhere to the instructions mentioned by DMRC in its official notification. For your reference, we have listed those instructions below:

  1. Candidates must bring all the certificates etc. in original, with one set of attested copies in support of age, educational qualification from a Govt. recognized University/Institute, as mentioned in the recruitment advertisement, failing which they will not be allowed to appear in the Medical exam.
  2. In case the candidates are already serving in Central/State Government Services/ Public Sector Undertaking/Autonomous Body and/or their application was not forwarded through the department, they should bring a ‘No OBJECTION CERTIFICATE’ from their office.
  3. Candidates coming under SC/ST/OBC category must produce caste/class certificate at the time of Medical exam, failing which their candidature will be cancelled. In case of OBC candidates, they will be considered under relaxed conditions. They must submit the latest OBC Certificate on Central format with sub-caste and non-creamy layer clause in Attached Format by the time of Medical exam.
  4. The call for Medical exam may not be treated as offer of appointment.
  5. No TA/DA shall be paid for appearing for the Medical exam.
  6.  All the candidates must prepare to stay at Delhi at their own cost for about four to five days.
