Candidates who have applied for the post of Station Controller/Train Operator can now download the DMRC Recruitment Admit Card from the official website. Candidates have to enter the Registration ID and Date of Birth to download the link.

The written exam for DMRC Recruitment 2017 for the post of Station Controller or Train Operator is scheduled in online mode on December 04, 2016. There are multiple choice questions divided in two papers. Paper I tests the aptitude and general knowledge of the candidate. However Paper II tests General English of the candidate.

The total duration of the DMRC Exam is 2 hours 15 minutes. It is conducted at various locations in Delhi. Candidates who qualify DMRC Exam for SC/TO are shortlisted for Psychological Test. Candidates who clear the psychological test are selected for further stages of DMRC Selection Process.

DMRC Admit card for Train Operator/Station Controller (SC/TO) can now be downloaded from the official website of DMRC. Candidates have to print the admit card for DMRC Recruitment in colored format and in multiple copies. Candidates have to follow the steps given below to download the DMRC Admit Card:

  • Visit the official website of DMRC and click on Careers Tab
  • Click on the link to “Download Admit card for Post of Station Controller and Train Operator (NE01)”
  • Enter the Registration/Application number and Date of Birth correctly in the blank space provided.

  • Download and print colored copies of the same

Candidates can easily retrieve their lost registration number through the following steps:

  • Visit the official website of DMRC and click on Careers Tab
  • Click on the link to “Download Admit card for Post of Station Controller and Train Operator (NE01)”
  • Click on “Forgot Registration No.”

  • Enter a valid e-mail ID and Date of Birth and Click on “Submit”
  • You receive the registration no. on the e-mail ID or displayed on the screen.


DMRC Recruitment Exam Pattern for SC/TO

DMRC Recruitment is conducted in online mode at various locations in Delhi. It is conducted in two parts i.e. Paper I and Paper II with objective type questions. The total duration of DMRC Exam is 2 hours 15 minutes.

Paper I includes three sections that test the aptitude and general knowledge of the candidate. Paper II tests the knowledge of general English. Thus, questions in Paper I are in English and Hindi both while it is English in Paper II.

There are 120 MCQs in Paper I and 60 MCQs in Paper II. The detailed DMRC Exam pattern is tabulated below:

Marking Scheme

DMRC Question Paper contains objective type questions for both Paper I and Paper II. There are 4 options with one correct options. Candidates have to mark and save the answer. Negative marking prevails in DMRC 2017. Candidate is awarded 1 mark for every correct answer and 1/3 mark is deducted for every incorrect answer.


DMRC Syllabus for SC/TO

Candidates must prepare for the written test as per the topics enlisted in the DMRC Syllabus. It varies for Paper I and Paper II.

Paper I includes multiple choice questions based on current affairs, logical reasoning and quantitative aptitude. Paper II includes questions based on topics of English grammar.
