DMRC conducts yearly examination for different posts, one of which is Maintainer. Candidates having ITI (NCVT/SCVT) in specific trades are only eligible for the post of DMRC Maintainer. The positions of Maintainers are paid approximately INR 8000 to INR 14140 per month based on trade specialization.

Official notification for this recruitment is released in January by DMRC. About 317 Electrician, 530 Electronic Mechanic, 33 Refrigeration & AC Mechanic and 178 Fitter field qualified ITI persons will be hired for Maintainer posts through this selection.

Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Limited conducts written exam for hiring the willing applicants on various Non-Exe DMRC Maintainer position in the month of April. DMRC Maintainer Syllabus consists of 5 sections namely-

  1. General Awareness
  2. General Intelligence & Reasoning
  3. Quantitative Aptitude
  4. General English
  5. Trade-related questions

Questions in DMRC exam are designed to analyze the applicant’s ability to think logically, verbal, mathematical skills and aptitude. Participants should make section-wise list of all the topics specified in DMRC Maintainer 2018 Syllabus and start with the ones which they find the difficult.

DMRC Maintainer Exam Pattern 2018

The exam will be conducted in 2 parts (Paper I and Paper II). Total 120 questions will be asked in Paper I and 60 questions in Paper II, all the questions will be objective type. The 1st paper will be last long for 90 minutes and 2nd paper will run for 45 minutes. There will be negative marking.

DMRC Maintainer Paper-1 Exam Pattern

  • Questions will have negative marking for wrong answering i.e. 1/3rd Marks will be deducted.
  • There will be total 120 questions in DMRC Maintainer Question Paper.
  • The questions will be based on Multiple Choice Question i.e. objective type
  • The duration of exam is of 1 hrs 30 Minutes.
  • The exam paper will be in both languages i.e. English & Hindi
  • Questions will be asked from Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Ability, General Awareness.

  • The Paper-2 is based on Multiple Choice Question based i.e. objective type
