DMRC Recruitment for JE is currently ongoing. DMRC exam for JE (Electrical Engineering) successfully held in online mode on February 14, 2017, in two shifts. In this article, we provide you with the DMRC Recruitment Paper Analysis for JE Electrical Engineering along with the answer key.

DMRC Recruitment Exam for JE Electrical Engineering consists of two papers- Paper 1 and Paper 2. The total duration of the exam is 2 hours 15 minutes. Time allotted to DMRC JE Exam Paper 1 is 90 minutes while the time allotted to Paper 2 is 45 minutes.

Out of 120 MCQs in Paper 1, 75 MCQs were from the Technical Sphere and the remaining 45 MCQs were from General Aptitude. Paper 2 consisted of total 60 MCQs from General English only. The level of difficulty of DMRC JE Electrical Engineering was marked of moderate level. Candidates could easily attempt 120 questions in total.


DMRC Recruitment JE Electrical Engineering Paper 1 Analysis

On an average, 1 minute and 33 seconds are allotted to solve each question in DMRC JE Paper 1. DMRC Recruitment JE Electrical section-wise paper analysis is given below. Paper 1 is divided into 2 parts:

General Aptitude (1-45): This section covered questions from General Knowledge, Quantitative Aptitude, Logical & Verbal reasoning and Problem Solving & Decision Making. Out of 45 MCQs, 12 were from each GK and quantitative aptitude. 10 were from logical reasoning, 7 from problem solving ad decision making and 4 were from verbal reasoning.

Technical Section (45-120): The questions covered the most of the questions from AC & DC Current, Resistance & Capacitance, Transistors, Wave Theory, GATES, Conductors & Insulators, Circuits, PNP and NPN Transistors.

DMRC Recruitment JE Electrical Engineering Paper 2 Analysis

DMRC Recruitment for JE Electrical Engineering Paper 2 is based on General English. Total 60 MCQs have to be attempted in 45 minutes to secure a position in the merit list. The detailed analysis of DMRC JE Electrical Engineering Paper 2 is mentioned below:

Fill in the blanks: A total of 10 questions were based on FIB. These questions focused on correct usage of prepositions, verbs and adverbs. These questions were marked easy to moderate.

Reading Comprehension: 10 questions were based on Reading Comprehension. Each question had 4 options, out of which, only 1 was correct. Candidates found this section moderately difficult as compared to other sections. Among 10 MCQs, 3 MCQs were on Spelling Correction.

Sentence Arrangement: Most of the questions were sentence correction & spotting errors based. Reading comprehension was riddled with challenging text and Para jumbles required precise logic for the accurate application. On an average, it took 20 minutes in solving 15 questions as per the majority of test takers.

Singular-Plural: 5 Questions were based on forms of speech. Candidates were provided sentence and they had to choose the grammatically correct form of speech from the given options. They were marked easy to moderate. Most of the aspirants were able to attempt all of them.
