DMRC exam was conducted from February 21 – 28, 2017 for the post of Customer Relations Assistant (CRA). The post code for CRA is NE02. DMRC CRA exam comprised two sections i.e. Paper I and Paper II. It consisted of 180 questions and was objective in nature. Candidates had to solve the paper in 135 minutes only. The overall difficulty level of the paper was moderate. Candidates appeared for the written test can check the official answer key by using their roll number and password. DMRC CRA recruitment process consisted of four stages i.e. written test, psychology test, personal interview and medical interview. Candidates will have to qualify the written test to go for further rounds of selection process. They will be shortlisted on the basis of merit list. The merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in both papers.

In CRA exam, paper I consisted of Aptitude and Technical based questions and paper II consisted of General English section. The total duration for the paper I was 90 minutes while it was 45 minutes for paper II.
Paper I contained a total of 120 multiple choice questions. The questions were asked from areas like General Awareness including computer awareness, Numerical ability, Logical ability and reasoning.
The paper II contained a total of 60 questions and was objective in nature. In this section, the questions were asked from different topics like comprehension, adverb, parts of speech, preposition, direct and indirect speech, active and passive voice, synonyms, antonyms etc. Here, we are discussing the analysis of all the sections as given below:

The difficulty level of this section was moderate. Quantitative aptitude section consisted of 40 questions. Most of the questions were asked from trigonometry, algebra, time & work, percentage, profit & loss, compound interest, simple interest, quadratic equation etc. Candidates found the questions from time & work and compound interest were tricky and time consuming. The questions based on simple interest, trigonometry and profit/loss were quite easy to attempt.
The Reasoning section had moderate to easy questions. There were total of 40 questions asked in this section. The questions were based on missing character, blood relations, direction sense, number series, coding-decoding, analogy, odd one out, decision making & behavior etc. Candidates could easily score more than 35 marks if they attempted properly.
General Awareness was the easiest section in the DMRC 2017 CRA exam. This section consisted of 40 questions and the questions were asked from current affairs, sports, computers, science & technology, history, economics etc. Any score more than 30 marks will be good one.
The General English comprised 60 questions in the DMRC CRA exam. The difficulty level of this section was easy to moderate. The questions were based on reading comprehension, sentence correction, antonyms, synonyms, para completion, parts of speech, active/passive voice, direct & indirect speech and sentence improvement topics. Candidates found para completion questions a little bit difficult. It needed good comprehension and understanding of basic grammar. Candidates with good command on English language can easily score more than 50 marks in this section.
