The Directorate of Educational Research and Training, Department of Education, Government of Meghalaya has released the official notification regarding the MTET (Class I to VIII) 2021 exam on its official site. The aspiring candidates can check the official notification here.
According to the official notification released by the department, the MTET 2021 Exam is scheduled to be on August 28, 2021, and the registration process for the same will start on June 10.

The candidates registering for the MTET 2021 (Elementary Teacher Post) must check their eligibility criteria before applying online. For the post of an elementary teacher, the candidates should possess the following educational qualifications & must fulfil the following age criteria:

The MTET 2021 exam will be conducted in two papers - Paper-I & Paper-II in offline mode. The total duration of the exam is two and a half hours.
