October 15, 2020: Director of Education, UT Admission of Dadra & Nagar Haveli, and Daman & Diu has released an official notification inviting 12th pass and Degree holder candidates to apply for the post of Assistant Teacher in Primary and Upper Primary School.
As per the notification released by DOE, UT, and Dadra & Nagar Haveli, there are a total of 485 vacancies available for candidates to apply. The registration window will remain open for interested candidates till November 02, 2020.
Interested candidates can now apply for the recruitment process by filling up the application form available at @daman.nic.in.
The recruitment process is announced with the guidance of the Centrally Sponsored Scheme (CSS). Out of a total of 485 vacancies, 278 posts are available for Assistant Teacher in Primary Schools (English Medium) and 207 vacancies are available for the post of Assistant Teacher in Upper Primary Schools (Gujrati, Marathi, English, and Hindi medium).
Eligibility Criteria for Primary Schools: Candidates interested in applying for the recruitment process must have 12th class certification with a minimum of 50% marks and +2 year Diploma in Elementary Education. Candidates who have graduated with a minimum of 50% in B.Ed are also eligible to apply for the recruitment process.
Eligibility Criteria for Upper Primary Schools: Candidates interested in applying for the recruitment process of Upper Primary Schools must have a valid degree of BA, B.SC, or B.Com with a +2 year Diploma in Elementary Education. Candidates having B.A, B.Sc, B.com, and B.Ed degrees are also eligible to apply for the recruitment process.
Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) Score: The Candidates who wish to apply for the post of Assistant Teacher in Primary and Upper Primary Schools and have a valid score of TET can apply for the recruitment process.
Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) examination must be conducted by the accordance of the Central Government or any State government is applicable. The candidate should be within the age limit of 30 years in order to apply for the recruitment.
Perks: Eligible students will be selected on a contractual basis in Government Schools. During their contract period, the candidates will receive INR 22,000 for Primary Schools and INR 23,000 for Upper Primary Schools per month.
Interested Candidates can apply for the post of Assistant Teacher in Primary and Upper Primary Schools by sending the applications with the prescribed format mentioned in the notification at the official mail of Directorate of Education firstname.lastname@example.org before November 2, 2020.
After the submission of the application, the conducting body will publish the list of eligible students on the website. The selection process for the post of Assistant Teacher will begin on November 12, 2020. Students will be informed in case there will be any changes in the schedule.
