How to Prepare for Mathematics in CTET?

CTET 2020 is scheduled for July 5, 2020, through offline mode (pen and paper-based test).The exam is conducted in two stages i.e. Primary stage (Classes I to V) and secondary stage classes (VI to VIII). Mathematics is usually considered to be slightly difficult as compared to the rest of the sections.

Candidates must have conceptual clarity as well as hands-on practice in solving questions to obtain a good score in this section. CTET 2020 Mathematics Weightage

Mathematics is a common subject in both CTET Paper I and Paper II. Mathematics Section has 30 marks out of 150 marks in both paper 1 and Paper 2 (not for those who choose Social Science in paper 2) which means it has 20% weightage. Pedagogy, Analytical, Calculative and Application based questions are usually asked from this subject. The difficulty level of the exam is moderate to difficult. The exam pattern for Paper I and Paper II is provided here in the table below:
