CBSE allows candidates appearing for the CTET exam to do the corrections in the form once the application process deadline is over. The students doing CTET Form Correction can make the changes by visiting the official website and can make the necessary amendments accordingly. To edit the CTET application form, the candidates have to enter the application number and password and the amendments can be made till the last date announced by the CBSE. However, the candidates are allowed to make changes in a few details only through  CTET 2020 Form Correction  window.

CTET 2020 Form Correction window for the July session is open till March 26, 2020. Only a piece of specific information mentioned by the candidates can be rectified during this period.

In case the candidates have made errors in the CTET application form then they are allowed to correct the form. The candidates must follow the beneath mentioned steps to make the corrections.

How Many Times the Corrections In CTET 2020 Application Form are allowed?

The candidates are allowed to edit his / her application form numerous times during the time period mentioned in CTET Application Form. CBSE will not consider any request for the changes once the form correction deadlines are over. Also, the candidates have to make the correction through online mode only and any correction request submitted via post/ fax will not be considered.

What Points must be Remembered While Doing Corrections in CTET 2020 Application Form

The candidates must adhere to the following points at the time of making the corrections in the application form.

  • All the fields are not editable; the candidates are allowed to make the changes in a few sections only.
  • CBSE will not charge any application fee for doing the correction.
  • The candidates have to download the revised confirmation letter as the details will be updated post the corrections. The previous details will become null and invalid.
  • The candidates have to fill all the details carefully using the corrections, as, after the period of correction time, the candidates will no longer be able to access the correction window.

How to make CTET 2020 Application Form Corrections?

Candidates many times make errors while completing the online application form either because of they are fresher or get confused at the time of filling the form. Therefore, CBSE offers CTET Correction Form option to the candidates to edit the particulars in the application form.

  • Visit the official Website.
  • The candidates have to log in using their credentials. Post entering Application Number, Password and Security Pin, the candidates will get access to the application form for correction.
  • The correction window will open and after reading the above-mentioned instructions, the candidates can move ahead to make Form Correction in CTET 2020.
  • After that submit the application form. No additional fee is required to be submitted.

How can the candidates Edit the CTET 2020 Application Form in case they Forget Password?

If the candidates forget their password, then CBSE will provide a link to get your password. The candidates need to visit the official website to login again.

  • The candidates need to look for the link that says, “Forgot Password?”
  • Three options will be displayed on the screen which includes referring to the security question, using verification code or asking for a reset link on the registered email id.
  • In case the candidates click on the first link, a new page will open with the fields including Application Number, Security question, security answer, and security pin.
  • Once the candidate has entered the details, a new page will open and the candidates will be able to reset the password.
  • In case the candidates select the second and third option, then they will be asked to fill the details including Application Number, Date of Birth, and Security pin to login again.

How the candidates can edit CTET 2020 Application Form in case they forgot Application Number?

Similar to the password, other important credentials that need to be entered into the application form correction is the application number. The candidates can use the same link to get the application number. The candidates need to click on “Forgot Application Number” and then choose the CTET 2020 application form. They need to fill the details including mother’s name, father's name, date of birth, state of eligibility and security pin, etc in the required fields. Post clicking on the submit icon, the application number will be made available to the candidates.

Once the correction of application form gets over, the candidates whose application form has been submitted on or before time will get the admit card of CTET. The candidates will get the admit card of the exam at least 10 to 15 days before the examination and the students can download the admit card online. No other mode apart from online is introduced to issue  CTET admit card  to the candidates giving the exam.

CBSE announced the list of  CTET 2020 exam centers  in the official notification. The list includes the examination center in the states and union territories where the exam will be conducted along with the number of centers in the states. CTET exam will be taken in 20 regional languages and will be conducted at 112 cities across the country.
