Before we talk about the steps involved in the registration, few documents must be kept handy, which are:

  • Scanned image of latest photograph
  • Scanned image of the signature
  • A copy of Class Xth Certificate
Steps to Apply

Steps to Apply for CTET 2021

All the aspirants can apply online for CTET 2021 through the official website of CTET. The steps are:

Step 1: Log on to the CTET official website (https://ctet.nic.in).

Step 2: Click on the “Apply Online” link.

Step 3: Fill in the Online Application Form and note down Registration No/Application No.

Step 4: Upload Scanned Images of your latest Photograph and Signature.

Step 5: Pay Examination Fee by e-Challan or debit/credit card.

Step 6: Print the Confirmation page for the record and future reference.

 The Application Fee for CTET 2021 is as follows –

For General/OBC candidates INR 1000 INR 1200
For SC/ST/Differently Abled candidates INR 500 INR 600

Note: However, GST will also be applicable along with the fee.

CTET Guidelines for Photograph and Signature

All the aspirants should carefully understand the guidelines for uploading scanned images of photograph and signature.

Guidelines for Photograph

  • A student is required his latest photograph.
  • Do not wear goggles in your photograph.
  • Black and white photograph are not acceptable.

Guidelines for Signature

  • The candidates should sign on white paper with blue/black ink.
  • The signature should be clear.

Dos and Don'ts

Dos and Don'ts for CTET 2021 Photo and Signature

There are a few things that a candidate must keep in mind while appearing for CTET Exam. They are given below:

  • During the examination, the applicant should sign in presence of an invigilator, across the photograph.
  • Students must bring additional copies of the submitted passport size photographs, clearly depicting the image with proper colours.
  • The photograph should not have a cap/hat or sunglasses.
  • Spectacles are allowed only if being regularly used.
  • Polaroid photos are not acceptable.
  • Upload your signature in the appropriate box provided in CTET Application Form in running handwriting.
  • Writing full name in capital letters in the given box will NOT be accepted as the signature. Doing so can also lead to the cancellation of the application form.

Form Correction

CTET 2021 Form Correction

A candidate cannot change or edit any information in the application form once the examination fee has been submitted according to their will. However, the aspirants will be given a chance to make corrections to their application. Read more about CTET Form Correction.

The conducting body releases notification regarding the correction window. Therefore, no further request for a change in particulars after the last date of correction dates shall be entertained under any circumstances. This facility is available in online mode only.
