CTET 2021: Provisional Answer Keys to be Issued Soon; Check Passing Criteria

February 15, 2021: Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE is expected to issue the CTET 2021 answer key soon on its official website

The Board conducted the teacher’s recruitment exam CTET 2021 on January 31, 2021 across 135 cities. As per the previous pattern, the officials release the answer key within 15 to 20 days of the exam.

CTET 2021: Passing Criteria

  • If the candidate belongs to the General category, he/she must score 60% or above to qualify for the next recruitment round.
  • If the aspirant is from the reserved category (OBC/SC/ST), then the minimum qualifying marks are 55%.
  • The qualifying candidates are provided with the CTET scorecard 2021 and CTET Certificate (valid up to 7 years).
  • The CTET is applicable to the central government universities. The state government or local schools consider marks scored in TETs conducted by the state itself. But with their decision, they can consider the CTET score.

After the release of answer keys, the candidates who appeared for the exam can raise objections and challenge the answers in the answer key/marking scheme. The officials will consider the objections and the issue the final answer key.
