January 11, 2021: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the dates for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2021. Adopting the principle of ‘safety first, exams later,’ the exam is scheduled to be conducted on January 31, 2021.
Earlier, CTET was to be conducted in July 2020. Owing to the COVID-19 pandemic, the dates had been postponed several times. For the convenience and safety of the candidates, CBSE has allotted additional examination centers in 23 cities.
Additionally, CTET Admit cards and information regarding exam centers will be notified to the candidates by the third week of January.

Official Notice: CTET 2021 Revised Exam Dates
CTET 2021 examinations had earlier been allotted to be conducted across a total of 112 cities. Keeping in mind the safety of the candidates appearing for the exam, additional 23 cities have been added to the list of the exam cities, totaling up to 135 cities. Candidates wishing to change their exam city can do so between January 17 to 26, 2021, until 11:59 PM. They are supposed to list up to 4 exam cities, as per their convenience. They may be allotted to a different city other than their chosen ones if the need arises.

To change the selected exam city, candidates need to follow these steps:

Additionally, the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2021 will be conducted on July 3 in CBT mode. The 75 percent cutoff for Class 12 graduates has been removed for IIT admissions, this year.
JEE Mains 2021 will be conducted on February 23 and 26, 2021. As per the schedule, the JEE Mains will be conducted in February, March, April, and May this year.
