CTET 2021: Exam Day Instructions & Important Documents Required Provided Hereunder

January 22, 2021: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has scheduled the CTET 2021 (Central Teacher Eligibility Test) on January 31, 2021. The exam will take place in offline mode at various examination centers. Candidates who are appealing for the exam will have to follow certain instructions and carry important documents to the exam center. CTET 2021: Documents Required on Exam Day

Aspirants are required to carry the following documents and things on the exam day to the test center:

  • CTET 2020-21 admit card, a candidate failing to bring admit card will be disqualified and won’t be allowed to appear for the exam.
  • Valid photo ID proof. This must be from PAN Card, Aadhar Card, Passport, Driving License and Voter ID Card.
  • Ballpoint pen. Candidates will be required to carry only a ballpoint pen of blue or black ink. This will be used to fill in the OMR sheet.

CTET 2021: Things Not Allowed on Exam Day

Following things or items must not be carried at the exam center. If found, serious and strict actions might be taken.

  • Books, Bits of papers, and Notes
  • Geometry/pencil box
  • Plastic pouch
  • Pencil pouch
  • Pencil, Scale, Eraser, and related stationery items.
  • Log table
  • Writing pad
  • Cardboard
  • Electronics devices such as digital watch
  • Wristwatch
  • Water bottle
  • Food and beverage (alcoholic or non-alcoholic)
  • Wallet
  • Goggles
  • Handbag
  • Electronic gadgets and items including Mobile phones, earphones, microphones, Cameras, headphones, Pendrive, pagers, Bluetooth devices, etc. 
  • Calculator
  • Debit/credit card
  • Electronic pen/scanner

CTET 2021: Exam Day Guidelines

Following instructions are mandatory to be followed by the candidates appearing for the recruitment exam:

  • Aspirants must reach the examination center 90 minutes prior to the start of the exam. It is advisable to reach 1.5 hours before the exam time. Once the exam begins, aspirants will not be allowed inside the exam center.
  • They must bring their own pen.
  • Overwriting and cutting in question booklet or OMR sheet is strictly prohibited.
  • Whiteners and pencils must be avoided and won’t be allowed.
  • No candidate will be allowed to leave the exam hall before the examination allotted time.
