Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2020 is conducted by CBSE to determine the eligibility of the candidates who aspire to become a School Teacher after their graduation. It is a national-level examination which is conducted twice a year. CTET is conducted in two papers, i.e Paper-I for the candidates who are willing to teach students of class 1-5 & Paper-II for those who are willing to teach students of class 6-8 and candidates who are willing to teach students from class 1 - 8 can take up both CTET papers. 

CTET is the most-sought after exam and is the only gateway to get the posts teacher in Junior and Elementary schools. Candidates who will qualify the CTET exams will be eligible to work at any government, private/public sectors. Therefore, to crack the CTET exams, candidates must have a proper strategy and plan it accordingly.

Check the success strategies below to qualify the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2020. 

  • Go through the CTET syllabus and CTET exam pattern for Paper-I 
  • Solve the previous year's CTET question papers as many as possible 
  • Understand the syllabus of Child Psychology, Learning Theories, implementation of Education Psychology and Philosophy of Education 
  • Understand the concepts of basic Evs, Hindi, English, and Maths 
  • Command on any language is the most important thing to solve all the parts of both the papers 
  • Watch the video lessons on Education Psychology and understand its concepts and theories
  • Plan your schedule and go through the CTET syllabus thoroughly 
  • Make a study plan and follow it accordingly 
  • Revise the ‘CTET Success Master Paper-I Class I-V with 15 CTET Practice Sets’ by Arihant Publications as it may be useful

Go through the preparation tips to qualify the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2020 exams. 

  • Do not stress by revising all the books 
  • Also, don't follow too many online channels to prepare for CTET 
  • Stick to one relevant book which will be beneficial to crack the CTET exams 
  • Although time management is difficult for everyone, divide it accordingly and revise the CTET syllabus 
  • Divide sectional timings and practice it daily
  • Don't stress too much on the exam day, instead mentally refresh and calm down yourself 
  • Be active and make sure you are hydrated 
  • Keep yourself motivated and take a sound sleep before the exam day for a fresh morning

  Recently, CBSE released the revised CTET 2020 exam dates on its official CBSE website. The Central Teacher Eligibility Test is now scheduled to be conducted on January 31, 2021 at around 135 cities across the country. Earlier, the CTET 2020 exams were scheduled to be conducted in July 2020, however, it was postponed due to the pandemic covid-19 circumstances.
