CTET 2018 Admit Card will be released by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) for February session in January 2018. Admit Card will be available in the online mode only where candidates will have to take a printout and bring it to the exam hall.

  • All candidates have to download it from the official website, www.ctet.nic.in.
  • To download CTET 2018 Admit Card, candidates have to enter their registration number and password.
  • The admit card has to be carried on the day of the exam along with a valid photo ID proof.
  • Admit card will have candidate’s details like their name, address of the venue, timings of the test, examination instruction, etc.
  • If confirmation page is not generated, candidates must contact Assistant Secretary, CTET Unit, CBSE.

CTET (Central Teacher Eligibility Test) is a national level eligibility exam to shortlist candidates for Primary and Elementary Stage Teachers. CTET 2018 Admit Card will be available to download only for those candidates who have duly filled the application form and submitted it within the prescribed dates along with payment of examination fee.

How to Download CTET 2018 Admit Card?

CBSE will release CTET 2018 Admit Card one month before the scheduled dates of examination. CTET will be held in two sessions, February exam and September exam. The admit card for February session will be out in the end of January 2018. Candidates who apply for CTET 2018 can download their admit cards from the official website. It will not be sent to candidates by post.

Steps to Download Admit Card:    

Students are requested to follow the given steps to download the admit card:

  • Go to the official website, www.ctet.nic.in.
  • Click on the tab ‘Admit Card’
  • A page will open wherein a link will be provided to download the same
  • Enter the Registration number and Date of Birth
  • Click on ‘Submit’ button
  • CTET 2018 Admit card will appear on the screen
  • Click on the ‘Download’ button and save the file
  • Take a print out
  • Keep CTET 2018 Admit Card till the entire recruitment process

CTET 2018 Admit Card will have the following details. Candidates are advised to check all the information cautiously. If any discrepancies are found, they must immediately report to the examination authority.

Documents Required on Exam Day

Candidates have to bring any of the below valid photo identity for examination along with their CTET 2018 Admit Card. Candidates will not be allowed to enter examination hall without having valid photo identity. Candidates are required to bring any one of the following ID proofs along with a photocopy:

  • Aadhar Card
  • Voter Identity Card
  • Passport

Discrepancy in CTET 2018 Admit Card

Important Guidelines for Exam

Given below are few checkpoints a candidate must go through on the exam day of CTET 2018:

  • Candidates should report at the designated examination center 90 minutes before the commencement of the test.
  • Candidate reporting at the examination center after 9:30 AM will not be allowed to sit for Paper II and candidate reporting after 2:00 PM will not be allowed to sit for Paper I.
  • They must read the instructions mentioned on the admit card carefully and follow them during the conduct of the examination.
  • CTET is to be conducted in the pen-paper based mode. According to CTET Exam Pattern, the question booklet will have 150 multiple choice questions in each paper I and II.
  • Check if details on the admit card are correct and legible. CBSE may change the city of examination or date of examination on their discretion without assigning any reason.
  • No candidate will be allowed to appear at the examination center other than that allotted to him/her in the Admit card.
  • No candidate will be allowed to appear in the examination whose admit card is not issued by CBSE.
  • No candidate will be allowed to enter the examination hall after the commencement of examination.
  • After the invigilator has verified CTET 2018 Admit card of the candidate, he must sign on the attendance sheet in the presence of the invigilator.
  • Do not deface, distort, mutilate or damage the Admit card. It should be kept in the excellent conditions.
  • Any kind of tampering in the Admit card may lead to the direct disqualification. 
  • Examinee should follow the instructions given to them by the invigilators in the examination hall/room.
  • Candidates are advised not to indulge in an argument with the invigilators or other staff involved in the examination duty. Candidates who do not follow the instructions will be treated under Unfair Means and his/her result will not be declared.
  • One must not disturb other candidates in the examination room and maintain complete silence during the examination.
  • The decision of CBSE shall be final in all matters.
