Staff Selection Commission released a notification recently for the recruitment of 8300 vacancies in Multi Tasking Staff. Candidates who have completed Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized board can apply for the exam at ssc.nic.in. The last date for application is February 1,2017. The exam date for the online mode is April 16 2017, April 30, 2017 & May 5,2017.
SSC MTS is a two tier exam with Paper I being Objective Type format. The shortlisted candidates are then called for Paper -II (Descriptive Type). The topics covered in Paper I are General Intelligence & Reasoning, Numerical Aptitude, General English, General Awareness. The total number of questions asked from each section is 25. Each question carry 1 mark and there is no negative marking. The duration for Paper -1 is 2 hours and for Paper- II is 30 minutes. The total marks including both the paper is 200.
The Reasoning part introduced in SSC MTS is aimed at candidates’ analytical and logical skill. The Syllabus ranges Verbal, Non Verbal and Analytical Reasoning. Candidates appearing for MTS should prepare the following topics well in order to ace the reasoning section.
