SSC MTS (Staff Selection Commission Multi-Tasking Staff) is a national level examination conducted for the recruitment of Multi tasking staff for various government departments and offices.
SSC MTS exam is conducted every year conducted by the Government of India. The post included in the MTS exam falls under the ‘C’ non-gazetted, non-ministerial category. Recruited candidates can be posted at Central government offices and departments across the country.

Candidates who aspire to appear for SSC MTS 2018 should check their eligibility before filling the application form. The basic eligibility for SSC MTS 2018 is given as follows-
Age Limit- Candidates should lie between 18 to 25 years. Age relaxation is provided for reserved category-
Date of birth which has been recorded in the senior secondary education will be taken into consideration.
Citizenship/Residential Criteria- Must be a citizen of India or should belong to Bhutan and Nepal.
Academic Qualifications- Minimum 10th pass or equivalent from a recognized board of the board will be applicable.
SSC MTS application process begins from October 2018. Candidates can fill the application form till November 2018. Candidates can fill the application form from the official website of SSC or they can download the application form and fill in a hard copy.
Candidates can make application fee payment online as well as offline. Without the payment of application fee the form will not be submitted. The fee once paid will not be refunded.

Candidates can make payment via two methods:
SSC MTS 2018 Admit Card is issued on the official website 3 weeks prior the date of examination. The admit card is issued to those candidates who filled the application form correctly before January 3, 2018.
It will be uploaded on the official website for the candidates to download, from their respective regional center that the candidate has submitted. The candidates who have applied for the offline admit card will receive their admit card by post or can also download it from the website.
Admit card is a mandatory document to be carried to the exam center. Here are a few steps to download it-

Candidates can choose their exam centers according to their preference. The candidates must select the center carefully as no change of centers of Examination will be allowed under any circumstances.

Results for SSC MTS are declared in two phases. Result declaration varies according to the 2 exams that are conducted. The first paper will be conducted between April-June and the results are likely to be announced in the month of August/September.
Candidates who will secure the cutoff as per their category prescribed by SSC in paper 1 will be called for 2 paper which is scheduled in December and as the exam is qualifying in nature, therefore, the marks will not be considered for the final merit list.
Candidates will be provided an appointment to the post of Multitasking staff as per their ranks in the merit list. Follow the steps below to check the results-
Cutoff is the minimum marks a candidate has to score so as to qualify the next step of the selection process. The cutoff will be released by SSC along with the declaration of results and it will be published region wise.
The first cutoff list is released in the month of August/September and the second cutoff is released in January.
