The Union Public Service Commission has released a set of guidelines regarding precautionary measures that candidates must take on the day of NDA 2020 exam. The exam is going to be conducted on September 6, 2020 as per the schedule. This year, a common exam will be taken for both NDA 1 and 2. However, the entire execution of the exam will be done by maintain a strict standard operating procedure or SOP to ensure that the spread of the virus during exam is stifled. Important guidelines for the candidates of NDA 1 and 2 2020:

  • It is mandatory for the candidates to wear a mask throughout the exam duration, from the time they reach the exam center.
  • The mask can only be removed temporarily at times when the exam authorities ask for it to verify the identity of the candidate.
  • Candidates must carry their own bottle of hand sanitizers but the bottle should be transparent.
  • Candidates will also have to comply with the norms of social distancing right from reaching the exam center to leaving it.
  • The body temperature of the candidates will be checked as soon as they reach the exam center and also signs of any COVID-19 symptoms. Frisking will be done this year too, but only after the temperature is checked.
  • The candidates are advised to reach the exam center as early as possible so the initial procedures can be completed within time. At most, 10 minutes before the exam commence, candidates will be allowed to enter the exam hall.

Apart from these, the usual rules of exam day will remain the same. Candidates are banned from carry several items including any electronic gadgets. They have to carry a black ball point pen for the exam. Without the admit card and the photo identity proof, the candidate will not be allowed in the exam hall.
